IMPACTING LIVES AFTER SCHOOL

David D. Hunting YMCA’s TeenZone is a free program that offers a safe and positive environment for our teen guests, ages 11-17 to visit after school.

The TeenZone is a staff-supervised free drop-in program where kids can get involved in a number of activities that embrace the Y’s values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and inclusion.

No registration needed and a YMCA membership is not required – all teens are welcome!

The TeenZone’s daily activities include: homework help, tabletop games, special events, and community service projects. Teens have the freedom to choose what their experience will be from day-to-day. We offer a number of structured activities or teens can elect for social time with friends.

This sparce is designed for engagement and is a pressure-free starting point for the day’s planned, supervised activities. Activities can include an introduction to the Zone’s technology and resources and participation in the day’s workshops, group projects, or impact and media series.
