Personal Trainers

Michael has a diverse background in functional fitness, post-rehabilitation therapies and conditioning training. A NASM Certified Personal Trainer and TRX instructor, Michael studied health science with an emphasis in physical education and wellness at Grand Valley State University. Michael believes that training and coaching reinforce motivation, and from motivation comes commitment; training is successful if geared toward reasonably challenging and concrete goals.

As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Angel’s training goal is to concentrate on the mind-body connection, breathing techniques, and the individual’s fitness goals. She’ll create motivational workouts to help keep clients living and moving better. Angel is a natural health and Ayurvedic practitioner, who likes to bring a holistic perspective to fitness.

Drew is a Kinesiology student at Calvin College and is a certified Level 2 Poliquin Performance Specialist. This certification primarily focuses on athletic performance, injury prevention, and optimizing client results. Drew enjoys teaching clients about the life-changing benefits of proper nutrition and exercise through maintaining a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

Currently pursuing a BS in Clinical Exercise at Grand Valley State University, Seth works hard to motivate each client so that their physical fitness – setting goals and surpassing them as well as advocating proper nutrition is the key to achieving personal wellness goals.

Bennett is passionate about helping individuals improve their quality of life through healthy lifestyle choices. An ACSM certified personal trainer and TRX instructor, he specializes in training highly-motivated individuals of all ages to encourage proficient and efficient movement, achieving results as quickly and safely as possible.

Amy is a NSCA certified personal trainer with a background in boxing and the bench press. In her mid-thirties, she tried sports and fitness for the first time, and lost 50 pounds along the way. A lifestyle coach with the Y’s Diabetes Prevention Program, Amy especially enjoys working with people new to fitness, and has a soft spot for fighters and power lifters.
